These pictures make me laugh when I look at them! On the last day of Nana's visit about an hour before she had to leave for the airport and based on the messy faces on some of the kid-dos -- immediately following breakfast...we all rushed upstairs to make FELT MONSTERS with Nana. Everyone drew out what they wanted their monsters to look like and then Nana helped cut out their monster shapes with felt [one front and one back]. We then glue on their faces and other accessories with fabri-tac, wait two seconds for them to dry and sew around the outside of the monster shape, leaving a small opening to push stuffing into. Then Nana helped everyone stuff their monsters and finish the stuffing opening with the sewing machine -- couldn't be an easier project! Kaiya, thought it would be funny to sneak her monster in Nana's luggage as a surprise for when she got home so we ended up making Kaiya another monster after Nana left... what a memory!

So wonderful to have a house with a craft room all set up and ready to go. We made good use of it that weekend!! Thanks to the creativity of the Kiddos, we made awesome monsters!!

I can't believe they could all whip them out right as Nana was leaving. Way to use every second of grandma time there was :)
