Little Miss Muffets...

bedtime can be a struggle at our house at times - Mark and I want and desperately need our time at night together and the kid-dos always want to be doing want whatever we're doing... after a brief family council on getting right to bed after our family prayers and teeth brushing [during which Mark stated emphatically, "...please don't come back down here unless your hair's on fire or there some other emergency taking place." again] The girls were trying their hardest to be obedient...everything seemed to be going well, until there was all this clamoring from upstairs, a bit of squealing, and lots of talking... Mark and I thought for sure we'd be seeing one of the kid-dos come down the stairs to report what was going on [one kid-do usually leads to another kid-do and so on until they're ALL back downstairs again, arg!] But no-one came down! When we finally headed upstairs for the evening this is what we discovered in our bed...




The next morning the girls informed us that they found a spider in their room -  they talked about it -- decided to go see if Derek would get the spider for them, but he was already asleep --  then after much deliberation they decided they didn't think that this would be considered an [emergency] to tell us about so they just packed up and moved into our room!  Problem solved...
